[WSCE 2026, Korea]
SCOUTER and Smart Toilet Demonstration at WSCE 2026 (Busan, Korea)
Our research team participated in the World Smart City Expo (WSCE) 2026, held at BEXCO in Busan, Korea, from September 9–11, 2026, and showcased our SCOUTER, smart-glasses platform and Smart Toilet system.
The exhibition demonstrated our approaches to passive and continuous health monitoring in everyday environments. SCOUTER combines smart-glasses-based food recognition and mastication sensing to monitor dietary intake and eating behavior, while the Smart Toilet enables AI-based monitoring of stool characteristics and defecation patterns. Through this exhibition, we presented the potential of wearable and ambient sensing technologies for future AI-enabled smart-city and precision-health applications.
2-6. Jul. 2026
[RoboCup 2026, Korea]
Smart Toilet Demonstration at RoboCup 2026 with LG CNS (Incheon, Korea)
Our research team participated in RoboCup 2026, held in Incheon, Korea, from July 2–6, 2026, and demonstrated our Smart Toilet system as part of the LG CNS Smart Home exhibition.
The demonstration showcased the integration of AI-based stool monitoring and digital health technologies into a smart home environment, where health information collected from the Smart Toilet could be connected with a home service robot and companion display. Through this exhibition, we presented the potential of our Smart Toilet technology for passive and continuous health monitoring and its future applications in intelligent home healthcare systems.
